Alex Oliveira is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With over a decade of combined experience in healthcare and fitness, he offers a unique blend of clinical knowledge, physical education, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of others.
Alex holds a degree in Practical Nursing from Brazil, where he spent nine years in high-pressure healthcare environments including emergency care, psychiatry, surgical preparation, and geriatric services. His hands-on clinical expertise is complemented by a bachelor’s degree and teaching license in Physical Education, which laid the foundation for his extensive work in health and wellness.
Throughout his career, Alex has supported individuals across a broad spectrum of needs—from leading physical activity programs for older adults to designing personalized muscle rehabilitation routines that improve mobility, restore strength, and enhance quality of life. He has also worked at the professional level, creating and implementing training programs for high-performance athletes, including members of a Brazilian volleyball team.
After immigrating to Canada in 2012, Alex continued his mission of helping others through roles in personal training and event coordination. In 2024, he relocated to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to further his education, completing the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program in April 2025.
Having recently relocated to Sault Ste Marie from Toronto, he continues to be driven by compassion and guided by a belief in the power of community care, Alex brings a holistic, empathetic approach to every client interaction. His multidisciplinary background, cultural sensitivity, and passion for service make him a valuable contributor in any health and wellness environment.

In 2025, I successfully completed the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program at CTS Canadian Career College in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. As part of my training, I completed a clinical placement at Extendicare Van Daele Manor, where I provided hands-on care to seniors and individuals with complex needs. Through this experience, I gained practical skills in personal hygiene, mobility support, emotional companionship, and infection control. The program strengthened my ability to deliver respectful, client-focused care in both private home and long-term care environments, reinforcing my commitment to dignity, safety, and compassion in every interaction.

I earned a Bachelor’s and Teaching Degree in Physical Education from Augusto Motta University Centre in Brazil. During my studies, I designed training programs to support mobility, functional movement, and sports performance—including working with professional athletes and older adults recovering from injury or surgery.
